What is this about?
This privacy policy fulfills the legal requirements for transparency in the processing of personal data. Personal data comprises all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. These include, for example, information such as your name, age, address, telephone number, date of birth, email address, IP address, or user behavior when visiting a website. Information with which we cannot (or can only with disproportionate effort) establish a connection to your person, e.g., by anonymization, is not personal data. The processing of personal data (e.g., collecting, retrieving, using, storing, or transmitting) always requires a legal basis and a defined purpose.
Stored personal data will be deleted once the purpose of processing has been achieved and there are no legitimate reasons for further retention of the data. In each individual processing operation, we will inform you about the concrete retention periods or criteria for retention. Regardless of this, we may store your personal data in individual cases for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims and where statutory retention obligations exist.
Who receives my data?
We only share your personal data, which we process on our website, with third parties if this is required to fulfil stated purposes and is covered by the legal basis (e.g., consent or protection of legitimate interests) in individual cases. In addition, personal data may be sent to third parties on an individual basis if this serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims. Potential recipients may include, for example, law enforcement authorities, lawyers, auditors, courts, etc.
If we use service providers for the operation of our website who, as processors in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR, process personal data on our behalf, these may be recipients of your personal data. More information about the use of processors and web services can be found in the overview of each processing operation.

Other cookies enable us to perform various analyses, such as recognizing your browser on a repeat visit to our website and transmitting various information to us (non-essential cookies). With the help of cookies, for example, we can make our online services more user-friendly and effective for you, trace your use of our website, and determine your preferred settings (e.g., country and language settings). Where third parties process information via cookies, they collect the information directly via your browser. Cookies do not damage your device. They cannot execute programs nor contain viruses.
We provide information on the specific services that use cookies in the individual processing operations. Detailed information about the cookies used can be found in the cookie settings or in the consent manager on this website.

Right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR to the processing of your personal data where this takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e), (f) GDPR and there are reasons arising from your particular situation or the objection is to direct marketing. The right to object does not exist if compelling, legitimate grounds for the processing can be demonstrated or if the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims. Where the right to object does not exist in individual processing operations, this will be indicated there.
